The word "Shrub" is derived from the Arabic word Sharab, which means "to drink." "Shrubs" aka Sipping-Vinegars originated as a method of preservation before the days of refrigeration.


Seasonal fruits and berries were soaked in vingegar and left to infuse for several days to extract the juices. Then the remaining liquid would be strained off and sweetened to create a tart, tangy, delcious and nourishing vinegar syrup.


Here in the Eldeberry Fairy Kitchen, our Shrubs are infused with the benefits of Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar, and the magic of the Elder.


For an easy herbal, probiotic and electrolyte infused mocktail:

Add 1/2 fl ounce Elderflower Lavender Shrub per 6 to 8 fl ounces of still or sparkling water. 


Organic Ingredients:

  • Raw Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Raw Cane Sugar
  • Elderflowers
  • Lavender
  • Whole Lemon
